The 2nd release of “Les Disques du bord de l’eau” is the continuity of the first double vinyl compilation made for the 10th edition of Festival Week-end au bord de l’eau based at Geronde lake in Sierre (Switzerland) which has featured artists like Bonobo, Jazzanova, Puppetmastaz or Vaudou Game.

For this first EP, the Japanese duo Lo-Fi Discotheque has been chosen through the beautiful and powerful disco rock track Jonny inspired by the singing child melody of the son of the leader Reina Kitada. Reina studied classical and violon in Paris, so giving a musical rebirth of this track in the hands of DJ Vas (Paris) and DJ Moar aka Jay Airiness (Nantes) was making sense knowing their sensibility and their love for disco.

This EP is blooming like spring and smooth like the flowers of a cherry tree floating between disco, dub, groove and soul melody.
