La Radio du bord du l'eau – Sierre (Switzerland)

Déor Kreol Rework

The next release scheduled for August 17, 2021, was composed by Eat My Butterfly, an artist from Reunion Island. Behind this chrysalis, hides Dilo, percussionist, composer and performer whose musical signature mixes as much the traditional Maloya as the primitive grunt of his synthesizers.

The title Déor (Outside in Creole) released on March 1, 2021 on Les Disques du bord de l’eau label was written in the spring 2020 during the 1st lockdown and echoes this period of calm and introspection for humans where nature and the singing of birds had regained their rights for a few weeks.

To make the most of its island, Eat My Butterfly gives a second life to this EP by surrounding itself with artists all native and living on this mystical island where the traditional Maloya emancipates with electronic music. Aleksand SAYA, BeBass, Boogzbrown, and In[Sula] have each rearranged this title with their musical universe.

Aleksand SAYA also treats us to the image of his cover of a magnificent reggae remix with the flavors of passion fruits under the nickname of Yaza Karakal. Two video clips also spice up the artistic richness of Reunion Island.
